Youth Dance Ensemble “Imanta”

The youth dance ensemble “Imanta”, founded in 2008, is a strong, joyful, and united collective that brings together dancers of various ages and regularly participates in concerts, dance evaluations, and cultural events throughout Latvia. The ensemble stands out with its energy, sense of family, and love for Latvian folk dance, regularly organizes friendship concerts, and achieves notable success, including the highest category at the 2023 XXVII Latvian Song and XVII Dance Festival, placements in the New Choreography Competition in Valmiera, the folk dance festival “April Drops”, and sports tournaments. With new dancers joining each year, “Imanta” develops new skills, sets higher goals in dance and beyond, and maintains passion, drive, and sincerity in every rehearsal and performance.
