Folk Applied Arts Studio “Puduris”
The Folk Applied Arts Studio “Puduris” was established in 1994, and since 1997 it has been led by Anna Priedīte. About her studio, Anna Priedīte says: “Here, ancient crafts are reborn in a new form that we can use in modern daily life, so that the ‘flavor’ of the people (the preservation of our essence) remains. We rely on available examples of folk art, but a craft must be learned so that the hands obey the soul — and we will teach this to those who apply and come to work in the studio. We work with tinted willow rods. It will be interesting! Come!”
